Study Plan — Learn with AI
Study Plan
Commit to a path, not a search query. A study plan turns a broad subject into a structured curriculum with phases, checkpoints, and measurable progress.
A study plan is an AI-generated, multi-phase curriculum built around a topic you choose. Instead of bouncing between random questions, you follow a sequenced path — each phase builds on the last, and you prove understanding through checkpoint quizzes before moving forward.
How to Create a Study Plan
In any conversation, type /study_plan or select "Study Plan" from the slash command menu. The AI generates a complete plan with multiple phases, each containing topics to learn, activities to complete, and practice tasks.
Phase Structure
Each plan is divided into sequential phases. A phase has four sections:
- Topics — Concepts and material to study. Check them off as you learn.
- Activities — Hands-on exercises or projects to apply what you've learned.
- Practice Tasks — Additional exercises to reinforce understanding.
- Checkpoint Quiz — A quiz to prove you've mastered the phase. You need 70% to pass (80% for the final capstone).
Phase States
- Locked — Previous phase not completed yet. Greyed out.
- Active — Ready to work on. Expand to see topics, activities, and tasks.
- Needs Review — You took the checkpoint quiz but scored below 70%. Retry when ready.
- Completed — Passed the checkpoint. Shows your score.
Working Through a Phase
- Each topic, activity, and practice task has a checkbox to mark it complete.
- Click the chat icon next to any item to open a conversation about that specific topic.
- When ready, tap Take Quiz to attempt the checkpoint. Previous scores are shown for retries.
Stats Screen
From the plan header, tap the stats icon to see:
- Overall progress bar (completed items / total items)
- Average quiz score across all phases
- Breakdown by category: Topics, Activities, Practice Tasks
- Per-phase scores with color coding (green = pass, orange = needs review)
Tap Study Again Harder to regenerate the plan with adjusted difficulty.
Why It Works
A study plan replaces the scatter-shot approach of "ask AI anything" with deliberate, structured learning. Each phase has a clear objective, and the checkpoint quizzes force you to recall and apply — not just read. You're not browsing answers. You're building knowledge.
